2013 Beijing International Microelectronics Symposium

During October 30
to October 31, 2013, 2013 Beijing International Microelectronics Symposium was
held by Beijing Economic and Trade Commission at Beijing Jingyi Hotel. This symposium
is co-hosted by Beijing Semiconductor Industry Association, SEMI and Chinese American Semiconductor Professional
Association. Vice-director of Beijing Economic and Trade Commission
Liang Sheng hosted the symposium, Director of Electronics and Information
Department of Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology Ding Wenwu, leaders from Ministry of Science and Technology and
about 300 delegates form semiconductor industry attended the symposium. Tao
Hong, President of HFSID, Yuan Chen, Associate Consultant of Science and
Technology Bureau of Hefei and Liu Lei officer from Hefei
Development and Reform Commission were invited to attend the symposium.
The topic of the
symposium is “Intelligence Changes Life” and focuses on the issues like the
developing need of smart life, advanced semiconductor manufacturing
technologies and future direction of integrated circuits industry. The CEO of
SMIC Zhao Haijun, President of Spreadtrum Communications Li Liyou, President of
Broadcom Li Tingwei, President of MI Leijun, Director of Institute of Microelectronics
of Tsinghua University Wei Shaojun and Director of Institute of Microelectronics
of China Academy of Sciences gave their speeches respectively.
