On July 4, 2014, Wu Cunrong, Sectary of Hefei Municipal Committee of the CPC met with Dr. Zhou Dian, the member of Recruitment Program of Global Experts and Dr. Zhen Xuan, deputy dean of School of Microelectronics of Dudan University and Top 10 Young Female Scientists in China. Yang Sisong, General Sectary of Hefei Municipal Committee of the CPC, Song Daojun, Director of Hefei Development and Reform Commission, Lv Fukuan, Deputy Director of Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone and Zhou Guoxiang, Deputy Director of Investment Promotion Bureau of Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone were presented in the meeting. Tao Hong, President of HFSID attended the meeting as well.

Wu Cunrong warmly welcomed the visiting of Dr. Zhou Dian and had a friendly dialogue with them. Wu Cunrong introduced the strategic layout, current situation and development plan of Hefei’s IC industry to the guests and expected Dr. Zhou Dian would introduce his programs to Hefei to promote the development of Hefei’s IC industry and Hefei Municipal government would provide full support to these programs.

After the meeting, Dr. Zhou Dian paid a visit to Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone and met with Lv Fukuang. Dr. Zhou Dian listened to the introduction of Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone. Lv Fukuan stated that Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone has given priority to develop IC and microelectronics industries in recent years and has achieved certain industrial scale. Dr. Zhou Dian was satisfied with the entrepreneurial environment of Hi-tech Industry Development Zone and expected to communicate with Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone further in order to locate in Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone early.
