On
December 11, 2014, CSIA-ICCD 2014 Annual Conference & Chinese Mainland and
Hong Kong IC Industry Development Summit was held in Hong Kong Science Park. Xu
Xiaotian, Executive Vice President of Chinese Semiconductor Industry Association,
Luo Fanshufeng, President of Hong Kong Science Park and other leaders attended
the opening ceremony. Ding Wenwu, Director of Electronic Information Department
of Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China sent a congratulatory
letter to the conference. More 1400 delegates from IC company,
association, investment institution etc. attended the conference. As one of the

The
conference started with President of CSIA-ICCD Wei Shaojun’s keynote speech “Boost
the IC Design Industry”. This year’s conference consists of top forum, subject forum
and expo. During the top forum, industry experts gave several speeches including
“Greeting the Fast Growing of Internet of Thing”, “New Perspective to Analyze the
Trend of Chinese Semiconductor Industry and EDA” and other topics. Attendees
form EDA company, foundry, fabless, testing & packing factory, university
and research institution had an in-depth discussion with industry professionals
on how to help Chinese IC industry becoming bigger and stronger. Topics involving
industrial merger & acquisition, internet of thing and trend of advanced
process are also popular on the meeting.
During
the meeting, delegates of HFSID had a freely and closely communication with
many attendees, which will play an important role in promoting the development
of Hefei’s IC industry.
