HFSID Visited Aquas and zNANO

On April 19, 2015, Mr. Tao
Hong, President of HFSID visited Aquas and zNANO, which both located in Silicon
Valley,USA.
During the visiting,
leaders from Aquas and zNANO introduced technical characteristics, target
markets and business plan of their products respectively. Tao Hong introduced
briefly to Aquas and zNANO about Hefei’s general social and economic situation.
Tao also talked about the potential cooperation opportunities with two
companies. Tao said that HFSID is willing to communicate closely with Aquas and
zNANO and to play as a platform to reach with Hefei industry for Aquas and
zNANO. Tao expected that Aquas and zNANO would play an important role in
Hefei’s effluent treatment program
in the future.
Aquas Technologies, Corp. is a licensee for the Lawrence Livermore
National Laboratory's (LLNL) patented advanced aerogel materials and has direct
collaboration with Stanford University. Aquas Technologies, Corp. owns advanced
capacitive de-ionization technologies to treat different kind of waste water
and its products have been applied in America, Canada and Spain at present.
zNANO dedicates to develop robust biomimetic membranes for industrial use that
consume minimal amounts of energy and it’s water treatment system have
been tested at the NASA Ames research facility. By now, zNANO’s products have
been adopted in the treatment of commercial effluents in America.
