Anhui Economic and Information Commission Held an IC Industry Report Meeting

the afternoon of November 7, 2013, Director of Anhui Economic and Information Commission (Hereinafter referred
to as “AHEIC”) NiuNutao and Deputy Director of AHEIC Cao Xiaowu held an IC
industry report meeting. Hefei Development and Reform Commission made a report
about the development of Hefei’s IC industry.
Chen Junning, professor of Anhui University
and other senior experts on IC area made an in-depth discussion on Hefei’s IC
industry and put forth useful suggestions. NiuNutao fully affirmed the
approaches that Hefei has adopted to develop IC industry and stressed that developing
IC industry should have an overall plan and rational distribution and emphasize
the long-term target at first; meanwhile, IC industry should base on innovation
to achieve leapfrog development; furthermore, IC companies should pay attention
to personnel training and let leading talentsplay a leading role in the
industry as IC industry is a talent intensive hi-tech industry; more
importantly,capital market is essential to IC industry so thatIC industry
should leverage capital market to achieve sustainabledevelopment.
