HFSID Attended Seminar for Taiwan Semiconductor Industry and Trends at CES 2016

On February 24, 2016, Seminar for Taiwan
Semiconductor Industry and Trends at CES 2016 was held at Taiwan. Lu Chaoqun,
President of Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association attended the seminar and
Bai Peilin, Vice-General Manager of Winbond presided over the seminar.
On the seminar, Chen Wanyi, analyst of Industrial
Economy and Trend Department of Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute
reported on Q4 2015 and Year 2015 Statistics on Taiwan IC Industry. This report
not only analyzed the performance of Taiwan and global IC and IT industry in
2015 in detail, but also predicted the performance of IC industry in 2016
roundly. Besides, Peng Maorong, manager of Industrial Economy and Trend
Department of Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute made a report on
2016 CES trend to induce this year’s CES.
The delegate of HFSID was
invited to attended the seminar, not only gave a speech on introducing China’s
IC industry but also answered question from the local delegates and had a friendly
communication with them.
