On
January 9, 2014, Zhang Qingjun, Mayor of Hefei, met with the delegation of
Phison Electronics Corporation, headed by its president- Pan Jiancheng at Hefei
Civic Center. Zhang Qingjun sincerely welcomed Mr Pan and introduced the
situation of Hefei on general and then emphasized on the situation of Hefei’s
IC industry. Mayor Zhang said “IC industry will be an important industry of
Hefei and Hefei also has a huge market for the IC industry because it has a
good industry foundation of household appliances, automobile, flat-panel
display and solar photovoltaic, which have a huge demand for chips”. Mayor
Zhang sincerely welcomed Phison Electronics Corporation to invest in Hefei.
Pan, president of Phison, admired the living environment, abundant talent resources
and favorable industrial environment of Hefei and agreed that “Hefei is an
ideal city to invest the IC business”. Before the meeting, Mr. Pan also met
leaders of Hefei Hi-tech Zone and University of Science and Technology of China
to discuss the exchanging of talent.
