On
July 20, 2015, a delegation from Taiwan which consisted of
Dr.
Han-Ping D. Shieh, Senior Vice President of Taiwan National Chiao Tung
University, Dr. Patrick Liu, Chairman of Taiwan Advanced Analog Technology,
Inc. and Lai Boyao, GM of Premier Investment (Shenzhen) Inc. visited Hefei
Hi-tech Industry Development Zone. Chen Hua, Deputy Director of Hefei Hi-tech
Industry Development Zone met with the delegation.
Chen
Hua sincerely welcomed the delegation, and introduced the status quo of Hefei
on general and developing situation of IC industry of Hefei Hi-tech Industry
Development Zone in detail to the delegation. Chen Hua said “IC industry is one
of the most important industries of Hefei and Hefei has a good industry foundation
for developing IC industry because of its the fast growing industries like household
appliances, automobile, flat-panel display and solar photovoltaic, which have a
huge demand for chips”.
Chen Hua suggested
that universities in Hefei could cooperate with Taiwan National Chiao Tung
University on joint training of students and also hoped Advanced Analog
Technology and Premier Investment could invest in Hefei Hi-tech Industry
Development Zone in the future to achieve win-win cooperation. The guests had a
close discussion with Hefei Hi-tech Industry Development Zone on their
concerning issues like talent recruiting, market outlook etc. and expressed their
willingness to cooperate with Hefei in the future.
After meeting the
delegation paid a visit to the Industrial Innovation Zone in Hefei Hi-tech
Industry Development Zone and highly praised the good working environment and
supporting facilities of the Industrial Innovation Zone after the visiting.
